Clevest Strengthens Leadership Position in Utility Market with Acquisition of ITLogica's Mobility & Integration Business Unit

April 30, 2013—Clevest Solutions Inc., a leading provider of mobile workforce automation software including smart grid operations exclusively for the utility industry, announced that it has acquired ITLogica's Mobility & Integration business unit. Clevest has been creating jobs in the U.S. and now has offices and employees in seven states. This acquisition adds to Clevest’s existing presence in Georgia and will allow Clevest to accelerate consolidation of the utility market by expanding its product suite and broadening its operations.

Thomas Ligocki, President and CEO, Clevest, indicated, "The acquisition is important to Clevest for a number of reasons. It gives us access to an integration module that facilitates information sharing between our products and key customer information systems such as SEDC, NISC and Banner; it gives us access to additional resources and their invaluable industry expertise; and it enhances our presence in the southeast."

Gary LaPointe, Vice President of Integration & Mobility Solutions, ITLogica, added, "With a well-known commitment to the utility and municipal industry and an established brand for mobile workforce and smart grid operations, Clevest is a great home for our team. From integration to implementation, we've worked together successfully on numerous coop, municipal and investor-owned utility projects in the past, and we're excited about the inroads we can make together as one organization, especially in the face of the increasing demand in the industry for smart grid and field force automation solutions."

Clevest adds the KamTech Integration Module (KTIM) to its mobile platform that includes software solutions for mobile workforce management (MWFM), automatic vehicle location (AVL), and smart grid operations and maintenance. With KTIM, Clevest will be able to offer utilities out-of-the-box integration between its solutions and leading customer information systems, including SEDC, NISC and Banner among others. By integrating enterprise applications, utilities can seamlessly exchange data across different systems and better coordinate the flow of up-to-date information within the organization and externally with customers.

With new resources in senior management, professional services and engineering, Clevest also adds a wealth of utility industry experience to its growing employee base that includes operations and regional offices now in seven states across the U.S. Clevest anticipates that the combination of people and products will allow the organization to shorten its implementation cycles, accelerate the deployment of its enterprise mobile solutions and deliver greater overall value to the utility industry at large.

ITLogica's Mobility & Integration business unit has implemented Clevest mobile solutions for utilities since 2009. The companies elevated their partnership in 2010 when the business unit expanded the scope of its offering to include integration and deployment services as a Clevest Certified Implementation Partner. Clevest was conversely certified by ITLogica as a Level 1 Implementation Partner for mobile workforce management, and as a Level 1 Integration Partner for CIS service order integration as well as outage system integration.
